Rev. Kim Olson (she/her/hers) came to FMHPC after serving in other settings as pastor, associate pastor, teacher, chaplain, and youth leader. Raised in San Diego, Kim earned a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts, an M.A. in Latin American History from the University of Texas, Austin, and a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. Kim has three children: Maya lives and works in Chicago; Anna is pursuing a PhD in social psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz; and Graham is at Ball State University. Kim shares her home with Medli, a high-strung, 7-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix.
